If you have never been to the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (my friends call it short: Cooking School), well you have to try it. The restaurant is located just at the entrance to Granville Island. I went there recently and ordered the following: Appetizer: Red Beet / Gravad Lox ($9) Main Course: Lamb Saltimbocca ($19) Wine: Hester Creek Okanagan Valley, BC Glass ($8) This meal was a culinary delight. The Three Dog Bakery in Port Moody is great. The staff is so lovely and so friendly. They always give my dog treats when we come in... in fact, whenever we're in the area, she leads us to their front door...and if they are closed, she's one upset dog! They have a great selection of healthy treats and dog food. They even have fun stuff like doggy cookies and birthday cakes! My dog actually licked all the icing off hers before she ate it! So cute.
