My family ordered from this specific restaurant via skip the dishes and the first thing I have to say is that I am repulsed with myself. I was disappointed with the quality of food but was still thankful to my mother for ordering. We ordered wraps and rice dishes. Both brley had any meat & sauce. Stuffed with rice, &no veg in the rice dishes. Also evrytng was spicy. I still shwed thnkflnss towards the meal, until I found hair in it. I had alredy eatn half of it! This tiny place is right across from the Reverb on Queen. It's open late and great for after-bar food... I did give service a nine only because the line is usually out the door! Hot, Yummy falafel (or donair i think if you like). Just a warning though, this place is TINY and the menu is not that big from what I remember. If there were other categories like atmosphere and stuff I'd have to rate this place poorly. It's pretty much takeout only. Always good though!!! This restaurant is known for its great Salad, looks like it harvested from local farmers, and the food served hot with fresh Falafel crafted with homemade Tahini source. The shop is both clean and tidy. The staff members greeted us with smiles as warm as the food they served. I would thoroughly recommend Pita Republic to anyone who appreciates great and healthy food. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Ample parking space and seating available. Very, very clean restaurant and the food was extremely fresh. Owners are very humble people and the prices are cheap for Afghani restaurant. We ordered chicken kofta kabab, Bakhtar Kabab, Half Chicken BBQ, and Afghani Pulao. I've been a casual of this family-run restaurant in college and ossington for about 3 years now. As the years have went by, my visits have become more and more frequent due to their quality of service. They have the best donairs i have ever tried! the meat is full of flavour and just the right spice. i specifically enjoy their health-minded mentality.
