this czech restaurant has it all, great food, down to earth & friendly service, cozy atmosphere, cleanliness, and excellent beer (CZECH BEER! the best)
Our waiter sat us as we walked in the door to a booth in the front room. A minute later he was back and was ready for our order. We ordered water, a Starropramen (czech beer in a tallboy) and a Metro Platter for two. The platter we ordered comes with 2 perogies, 2 cabbage rolls, 2 plain schnitzels, 2 choices of potato, 2 choices of vegetables, and 2 choices of soup or salad. Unfortunately they were all out of perogies so ours came with a sausage instead. Our waiter was nice and there were no problems with him or the other server working... The was no abruptness. The portions are huge! The menu is updated, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean, and the wait staff friendly and ready to answer questions. I'll be back to try their newest schnitzel, the salzburg, soon. *There was one thing I would like changed. They charge per drink for sodas, which is why I stick to beer.
The restaurant was very busy but we were seated pretty quick. The waitress was very friendly and we had a nice chat about her travels to Europe. She explained that it was a Czech restaurant and that most people think that it's a German restaurant. The menu is great with lots of options of schnitzel, which is the best I have ever had. It was light and crispy and on the platter you have a variety of schnitzels. The beer was also good which was recommended by our friendly waitress. Overall our table was very impressed with the food and the service and the restaurant also has a very home like feel to it and when the bill came we were impressed at the reasonable price

Best perogies in town-- possibly anywhere. Good atmosphere, amazing food and quality service. I recommend going TODAY!
